We are looking for a lawyer or a lawyer specializing in civil litigation and insurance law for our Montreal office, located at Place Ville-Marie.

Responsibilities

The chosen person will take charge of the files entrusted to him, from their beginning to their end.

She will meet with clients, conduct appropriate research and follow-ups, render legal opinions, make representations in court, negotiate out-of-court settlements and must handle cases with judgment, discernment, diligence and efficiency.

What you need to succeed in this role:

• 1 to 5 years of experience as a lawyer;
• Experience in civil litigation and insurance as well as before civil and administrative tribunals would be an asset
• Have excellent skills in civil procedure;
• Demonstrate great professional rigour;
• Be methodical and professional;
• A good sense of organization and priorities;
• Be concerned about the quality of customer service;
• Show a strong team spirit;
• Be bilingual and have a great ability to express themselves clearly in English and French in order to ensure follow-ups with the clientele served.
