Un diplômé d’Ottawa à la Cour suprême

Un jeune diplômé de la faculté de droit de l’université d’Ottawa travaillera aux côtés de la juge en chef de la Cour suprême du Canada, la très honorable Beverly McLachlin.
Jean-Christophe Martel (LL.L. 2009) agira à titre d’auxiliaire juridique pendant l’année 2011-2012.
Il a appris la bonne nouvelle le 3 mars dernier de la bouche même de Mme la juge en chef.
Le jeune homme entreprendra son mandat à la Cour suprême à son retour de l’Université d’Oxford puisqu’il a décroché une Bourse Rhodes pour l’année qui vient afin d’y compléter un « Bachelor in Civil Law ».
« Ce sera la première fois que je pourrai, à temps plein, mettre en pratique tout l'acquis de mes études en droit. Pourtant, ce sera aussi l'occasion de continuer à apprendre!, » a dit celui dont les propos sont repris sur le site de l’université d’Ottawa.
Jean-Christophe Martel est ravi d’avoir été sélectionné par la juge en chef car il dit partager presque toujours son avis sur les questions présentées devant elle, rapporte le site.
« Je sais, beaucoup de travail m'attend. Mais je crois que ce sera un des projets et défis les plus gratifiants de ma vie, car je verrai l'impact concret de mes efforts dans le développement du droit canadien. »

Considering that there are roughly 25 law schools in Canada, 4% for UQAM makes perfect sense and isn't low at all... am I missing something?

Dumb as you are, feel free to criticize or insult people from UQAM. I couldn't care less, it's not my school. But I highly doubt that your brain is able to find something specific to use against them. So during the last five years, UQAM supplied 4% of the clerks. Given that there are about 25 law schools in Canada, UQAM supplied 1/25 of all clerks. Now how the heck is that supposed to be bad? Do you happen to think sometimes? It helps.

So you're saying that "supply" used to be a plain, common English term. Nowadays, however, it came to become a purely specialized term and should only be used in this specific tax law context. Interesting...
I got a thing which comes plugged in between the wall outlet an my laptop. I call it "power supply". It,s not tax law related in any way. Soo... am I wrong? Should I refrain from using "supply" in this context?
