Our Montreal office is seeking a Labour and Employment Lawyer to join our dynamic and entrepreneurial team representing leading national and international employers. This is an excellent opportunity for proactive lawyers passionate about providing legal services in a sophisticated field, who wish to play a significant role in all aspects of labour and employment law. This position requires extensive contact with clients, arbitrators, government agencies, and opposing counsel.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: drafting pleadings, legal briefs, and motions; participating in management conferences, arbitrations, hearings before the Labour Administrative Tribunal and other tribunals; conducting legal research; and advising clients. The ideal candidate will be passionate about labour and employment law, possess strong analytical and writing skills, and be able to build rapport with sophisticated clients and inspire their confidence. Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.). Qualified candidates must be members in good standing of the Barreau du Québec. During their employment, they must meet the requirements for maintaining their license to practice law.
  • Candidates should ideally have 3 to 5 years of experience in labor and employment law.
  • Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills are required.
  • Bilingualism (French-English). This position requires knowledge of English due to client requirements.
