Me Gary Nachshen, décédé durant ses vacances

Note de Rod Barrett
I am so sorry to have to tell you the terrible news that Gary died last night while on vacation with his family in the Turks and Caicos. Our hearts go out to Gary's wife, Julie, and his children Thomas (age 11) and Emma (age 5), as they cope with this shocking and tragic event. We will all feel Gary's loss.
As you know, he has been a part of our firm since he joined the Montreal office as a student in 1986. He became a partner in 1996 and moved to the Toronto office in 1997. He has been a wonderful partner, the leader of our Firm's pensions practice, and a highly respected expert in the pensions Bar. As his practice area crossed most disciplines in the Firm, he was well known to many of us. He was generous with his time and was always willing to lend a hand on a moment's notice.
He was passionate about our Firm: he was a wonderful mentor, a strategic thinker about our pension practice and a thoughtful leader when it came to the direction and fabric of our Firm. We will miss him terribly.
I will keep you advised as I hear details of the funeral arrangements.
